Omni Impact

You could say that Omni Impact began April 1, 1988 when Daniel Marcus was born with a computer in his hand. Of course, that might be pushing it just a bit.

Fall 2006

The very first website done under the conditions of what would become Omni Impact was http://elastamark.com. Created as part of a family business, the Elastamark website has since been maintained by Omni Impact, and for several years served as the driving force behind Omni Impact's updating technology.

Spring 2006

After disappointing experiences elsewhere, Daniel Marcus was employed to create a website for the Foreign Language Association of North Carolina, a non-profit education organization. At this point, Omni Impact was formed as a company and registered with the IRS. Hooray, Omni Impact can now pay taxes!

2007 and 2008

The year of 2007 was a turning point for Omni Impact. Now an official company, Omni Impact was employed by Daily Elixir, Educational Partners International, and Jerry's Artarama, and through 2008 moved from older style static websites to providing modern end-to-end services. During this time, Snippet CMS, Omni Impact's in-house content management system was born, and several of the older websites, including the ones for the Foreign Language Association and Jerry's Artarama Retail Stores were revised using the newer technology.

Through the Present, and to the Future

Omni Impact has continnued to develop. Now with years of experience, Omni Impact is able to offer a full range of small business services, and technologies like Snippet CMS have made their way from beta versions to their third incarnations. This website is proudly powered by these technologies, and all websites are kept up to date. We are constantly joined by new ventures, such as Audible and Hillel of North Carolina. As Omni Impact continues to mature, it is our hope that our customers and friends will grow with us.
